At the Center for Senior Wellbeing, we believe that staying active, engaged, and curious is key to thriving at any age. Our Senior Activities program offers a wide variety of opportunities designed to enrich daily life, spark new interests, and foster connection. From movement and fitness classes to languages, card games, and technology-based activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy – whether you’re looking to stay active, explore new hobbies, or simply have fun with friends.
The Center for Senior Wellbeing fitness classes and activities are designed to help older adults stay active, strong, and confident in a safe, supportive environment. Classes include exercise, chair yoga, breath work, line dancing, a walking club, pickleball, and other movement-based activities that promote mobility, balance, flexibility, and overall strength.
All activities are gentle and adaptable to every ability and fitness level, and are led by instructors who understand the unique needs of older adults. Participants can expect a variety of seated and standing movements, light stretching, breathing techniques, strength and balance exercises, range-of-motion work, dance movement, and low-impact cardio, as well as engaging group activities like walking and pickleball. As a group, all of our fitness activities support physical wellbeing, energy, and confidence, while creating opportunities for connection, enjoyment, and active aging.

The Center for Senior Wellbeing leisure and recreation activities offer older adults opportunities to relax, connect, and explore personal interests in a welcoming, social environment. Activities may include music lessons and ukulele groups, conversational Spanish, a monthly book club, card and table games such as Bridge, Pinochle, and Mah Jong, as well as creative pursuits like photography and other hands-on activities.
Whether participants are learning something new or enjoying a familiar favorite, these activities reduce stress and support mental engagement, creativity, and social connection.

Our monthly Support Groups offer a welcoming, supportive environment for caregivers, family members, and individuals navigating the complexities of aging, caregiving, dementia, memory loss, and the issues that come with other neurodegenerative diseases. Guided by experienced professionals, every support group is designed to provide meaningful education, helpful resources, practical coping strategies, and the reassurance that comes from connecting with others who share similar experiences. Some of our groups also bring in guest speakers and care experts who provide valuable insights, answer questions, and share real-world strategies. While each group may take a different approach, all are rooted in fostering understanding, encouragement, and a sense of community — so no one has to navigate these challenges alone.
Some groups are thoughtfully designed to support both caregivers and those they care for at the same time. For example, our equine-assisted therapy group provides caregivers and family members with space to restore, reflect, and connect with peers, while individuals living with memory or other neurodegenerative challenges participate in their own supportive, engaging activities led by trained professionals and licensed clinicians.
Regardless of which Support Group you are interested in, each group remains grounded in the same core purpose: to provide compassionate support, build confidence, and strengthen the circle of care for older adults and those who walk alongside them.
