The Dementia Support Group, facilitated by the Silverado Dementia Care Group in collaboration with the Center for Senior Wellbeing, is a welcoming and supportive space for family members, friends, caregivers, and anyone navigating the challenges of dementia. Held on the last Thursday of each month, meetings focus on building understanding, sharing practical tools, and learning strategies to better support daily life. Sessions will include dementia care experts and guest speakers who offer insight into what dementia is, how it affects individuals and families, the importance of respite, and effective ways to communicate, care, and stay connected. Above all, the group provides encouragement, education, and a sense of community – so no one has to walk this journey alone.
