2026 Impact Stories

Sometimes impact changes a life. Sometimes it changes a day. Both matter.

At the Center for Senior Wellbeing, impact can be seen and felt in countless ways. It can be a ride that gets someone safely to a medical appointment. A nutritious lunch shared with friends. A class that creates connection. A day at our Adult Day Center that keeps a senior engaged while giving a family caregiver time to recharge.

And sometimes, the need is far more complex ‒ a senior facing a crisis, a family overwhelmed by an unfamiliar system, or someone who simply does not know where to turn. In those moments, impact may mean having an advocate in your corner, bringing together the right resources and partners, and helping create a path forward.

These everyday moments and life-changing stories are different, but they share something important: they help seniors remain connected, supported, safe and valued in the community they call home. And as our community changes, so do the ways seniors need that support.

The needs facing seniors and their families can range from simple, everyday support to increasingly complex challenges ‒ and those needs continue to change as our senior population grows. Our goal is to keep pace: reaching more seniors, strengthening and expanding programs, improving access to services, building meaningful partnerships and responding when new needs emerge.

It means continuing to fill the gaps so seniors and their families have a place to turn throughout every stage of aging ‒ and making our impact wider, deeper and lasting by continuing to listen, adapt and respond to what our community needs most.

The stories, videos and numbers on this page show what that impact looks like. Some are stories of profound change. Others capture something much simpler. Together, they tell the story of why this work matters.
