DESCRIPTION:This August, we are proud to honor Carmen Willard as our Senior of the Month ‒ a dedicated volunteer whose creativity and commitment to helping others have touched countless lives throughout the Fallbrook community.\nIn 2014, Carmen founded the Fallbrook Blanket Project, bringing together caring hands and generous hearts to create crocheted and knitted blankets and other comforting items for those in need. Over the years, the project has provided warmth and comfort to military members, older adults, youth and families, women’s shelters, animal sanctuaries, food programs, and many other organizations throughout the community.\nCarmen is also an active member of the Fallbrook Garden Club, Fallbrook Encore Group, Fallbrook Women’s Club, and St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Parish. Alongside her family, she has long been involved in making Fallbrook a more caring and connected community through service. Known for her generosity and compassionate heart, Carmen reminds us that even the simplest acts of kindness can make a lasting difference.
